severe rib pain...
This is probably super common but its making me nervous .. yesterday morning when i woke up i noticed tenderness in my left rib cage and i figured maybe the baby had poked me ... but last night it hurt to even lay on that side and now today it hurts to fully inhale. Im 40 wks waiting for my stubborn baby to decide to make his arrival but i dont have a dr appt until next Friday. The reason for my concern also is bcus i dont feel him kicking my ribs .. hes lower and mainly pokes my sides n stuff... anyone else have this too???
If you think about how everything is all scrunched up in there...baby may well be poking you somewhere inside with a knee or heel which will def hurt! As long as you're not having trouble breathing in general then you are possibly fine, but if it gets any worse (either the pain or struggling for breath) I would def phone the doc for some advice.
