Sharp pains on one side could indicate ectopic pregnancy. Have you had an ultrasound to confirm where the egg implanted? If not, you might want to get seen sooner just to rule that out.

It sounds very normal to me, I am 34 weeks and I was getting a lot of those sharp pains in the beginning.
At fisrt I was very confused because they felt like stabbing pains, and I thought that stretching ligaments and such would feel more like stretching, not stabbing.  My doc said it was normal, but I still went to the ER, and everything was fine.  the doc there said that sometimes they just feel like that,
but it might make you feel better to have it checked out, I know that that is the only thing that made me feel better.  If you have sharp pains with blood or something like that, that is when it is time to really worry.  I know the pains though, and I hope you start to feel better.

I'm having the same kind of pain and have been the past few days...I even hurt during intercourse....I'm trying to conceive....so I'm not sure if it's normal...and I don't remember from my previous pregnancy....If it continues to be very painful I would just call the nurse. I'm goin to the Dr. Thurs.
