I'm 16 weeks today and am having horrible sharp pains from time to time.I can barely eat but I don't want to overthink that there is something wrong.I don't think my baby is getting enough nutrition since I can barely eat.the pains feel like period pains and it worries me.should I be this scared?

Where are the pains?  I have them in my lower right and left sides if I move just right, cough, or sneeze.  I've been told this is normal because the ligaments are stretching.  It doesn't sound like that's your issue.  If you're worried, it might be best to just call your doctor.  My OB office said they'd rather have me call in with a silly question than to feel silly and have it be more serious.  If you aren't bleeding at all, your baby is probably ok, but it could be something else not pregnancy related.

If you're bleeding at all you need to go to the er. I was around 16 weeks when that happened to me and as soon as I saw some blood I went in and they told me I has a uti and bacterial vagnosis. Both of those are really common during pregnancy and they can give you medicine to safely take. Within a few days everything was fine for me!

Its most likely round ligament pain. Bit if its every where in your stomach please contact your doctor.
I was having sharp stabbing achey pain in my stomach and it got to the point where I went into the er and they told me it was a severe yeast infection. And the pain was off n on.
