We always washed the baby's clothes in Dreft, at least until they were a little older...
I had preemie clothes and never had pink or blue because I hate how babies have to wear their "color". My daughter has extremely sensitive skin, so sensitive in fact that I have to use only huggie supreme diapers and only aveeno lotion and bath wash because she will get the worst rash all over if I don't. Regular detergent like Tide was never a problem for her though so I'm pretty sure that it is ok. Also, I wash all her clothes with mine and that isn't a problem either.
yes wash them first and you may want to use a dye free detergent, tide and all both make one. The clothes are not too small for the machine, they will be fine.
machine, my kids wore preemie clothes, and they did just fine in the washing machine.
Also, my kids never had a sensitivity to the detergent. So the detergent part, do what you feel is safe. If you want to spend extra money on baby detergent you can.
Also, I washed my kids clothes with mine, and nothing bled, or anything.
I washed all of my baby's clothes at a friends house. I did not feel confortable washing it at a normal laundry mat and they were fine. All the clothes are going to be around the same color (pink or blue) so ther won't be a problem on color fading or stretching. Make sure you set is a delicate, and i would recomend drift detergent. I think tide is too rough on the baby's skin.
so should i wash them in bath tub or machine. cos i think they are too little to wash in mashine.
I would definately wash. You don't know howmany people touched them, steped them or how long they were in storage. The baby's skin is so delicate (sp- sorry) that you would not want him/her to get a rash from dirty clothes.
I have always washed my kids clothes with tide. never used the baby stuff, but yes do wash them before.
