signs of early labour.....

In your experience what were your early labour signs?

I know i'm not in labour but i have been experiencing an unexplained pain in my pelvic and pubic bone area. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I am 35 wks pregnant.
I haven't mentioned it to my midwife yet but after speaking to a few mothers i was told that it maybe a very early sign of labour and my body was preparing itself??

I had severe pelvic and hip pain toward the end of my first pregnancy and it was normal, though it did make it difficult to walk and sleep. With this one, the pain has started earlier, but still normal. tarajanes is right, though. Any pain should be discussed with your doctor just to be on the safe side.

Its most likely your pelvis preparing for birth.this can happen several weeks before birth, the muscles in the pelvic region, begin to soften,so the babys head can move down there.it is normal.but any kind of pain, you should speak with your midwife.or call delivery ward.not long now ay.im currently 5 days behind you.good luck.
