i was smoking vapor cigs before i got pregnant and when sickness kicked in i couldn't stand the smell of the vapor, now my husband smokes vapor and it kills me.but to quit cigarettes im not sure :/ try using vapor so it's a little safer and try a flavor you don't like, you'll eventually stop. Hi i advice eshisha , these are purchasable on ebay amazon and u can even use refills which have low tobacco in them there still healthier then a cig and they contain no junk like cigs do. U can easyly cut down on these also. I wouldnt advice using no tobacco ones as they sugest not for pregnant woman. Good luck :)
Id say just cut back as much as possible but dont stress if u feel u need one then have one I know its not good but Ive heard its not good to go cold turkey either lol
Here in new Zealand they have electronic smokes. It tastes and looks like a cigarette, AMD you do even breath in a vapour but has no toxins in. Maybe they sell these where youare too? It's all over the news here about how well they are working. Best of luck to you!
No amount is safe but i was told that one or two every couple of days is safer than the stress you put your body in when you try and quit cold turkey, i'm now down to about one a week if that and i'm almost 14w (:

I asked my husband what would help because he smokes and I never have. I thought the same thing as you except I said to get the candy sticks that resembled ccigarettes. He just looked at me like I was crazy and shook his head lol

CareyMC, as a smoker, the twizzler thing would not work. Sucking on mints or candy would help, but it is difficult.
Every time you want a cigarette maybe chew a piece of gum. I've never been a smoker so I'm probably not much help but I would say not to smoke any cause then it may cause you to just want more than that limit throughout the day
Find another habit instead. If you want to continue smoking, there is no "safe amount," the doctors just told me to cut back then quit.
I have never smoked a cigarette, but I do know it is harmful no matter how many you smoke. Try getting some twizzlers and bitting the tips off to make holes and "puff" on them. If you have to cut em in half to be the length of a cigarette.
