My neighbor smoked all throughout her pregnancy and she ended up having to be induced almost 3 months before her due date. The baby was very lucky that he survived, but he was in the hospital for a long time before he was finally able to come home. She couldn't even hold him when he was first born. I don't think it's worth it to risk the health of your baby. If you can't stop for your child, I think that's wrong. Sorry, just saying what I've witnessed.

Im 18 weeks. And im a smoker. I smoke about 6-7 a day. And i know this is bad for my baby. However when i first went to the doc... they asked me if i smoke and told them yes amd how many. They never said a word. I was worried about the judgement. But everyone in my family jas smoked with their kids and we are all just fine. ;)

Have you tried the water vapor cigarettes? They are better for your baby than the real thing. I was able to quit cold turkey, but you have to remember that you are not quitting for you but for baby. That thought process helped me. Now I get annoyed when people smoke in front of me.
