so when should i start searching for a hospital to give birth?

I'm only 19w3d but being the paranoid little girl that I am, I'm already thinking about stuff like this. I mean, how does it works, do you just go around asking hospitals about their plans? Do you have to pay for everything or insurance would pay for it? Mine says it doesn't cover maternity so I guess I'd have to pay for it out of pocket? How much would it cost, 10k? 20k?

Your OB should tell you which hospital or birthing center they deliver at. As for the insurance, I'm not sure because I thought all insurances covered delivery and prenatal care. I hope someone else can answer that question for you. :)
