I didn't know about the soft serve ice cream issue until last week. And I was having it every other night, oops. I switch to regular ice cream since then, and forzen custard and milk shake, lol.
I'm sure even the soft serve one is fine if you trust the place to clean their machine often. But I'm just going to play it safe.

its because you can catch listeria which can cause miscarriage, and usually the soft serve machines are not cleaned out very often

I crave ice cream ALL the time! & icee, frozen yogurt, milk shakes pretty much anything cold. Haha & I eat it :) I can't resist. Lately I have been eating ALOT of ice cream! My 2nd tri mister I ate lots of frozen yogurt (tutti Frutti) I'm due any day now & never heard of eating ice cream that could harm the baby. Just make sure your drinking lots of water & not eating too much sugary stuff.

I've ate both those with all three pregnancies. My two boys are normal and I'm still pregnant with my lil girl now.
