soo tired

Hi Ladies,

Some of you know that between dealing with my ex & this TOTALLY unplanned pregnancy w/ him, and tryigg to figure out how I am going to do this as a single woman, AND trying to quit smoking, I have been mildly stressed out.. I find that I am tired 24-7. Even if I get a good nights rest. I am too tired to excercise, and have gained a B U T T load of weight. I am worried I am a little depressed. Also, I am trying to "hide" this pregnancy as long as possible b/c where I live, it's not so acceptable to be single and preggers.( I am totally starting to show, though..Uggh) .Plus everyone has nothing better to talk about, and I would prefer to keep myself out of the small town gossip circle for as long as possible.. I am just feeling like I need some advice to get some sleep and hoping for some reassurance I guess..

XO
Laura

I was so tired for about the first 3 months.  I would go to work and come home and do nothing but lay around and then want to go to bed early (like 7:30).  You will feel so much better later. For me it was like week 14 - 15.  I am no longer tired like that anymore.  Just rest - it is the only thing you can do and try to exercise early in the day.  Good luck!

You will feel a little better in your second trimester.  You will get a little bit more energy.  Right now your body is adjusting to pregnancy and the baby takes most of your vitamins and basically ***** the life out of you I always say.  All I can say to you is relax.  Right now the only thing you need to focus on is staying healthy for that little bean you are caring.  Don't worry about what other people think.  I think you can take some tylenol pm to sleep better.  When I was pregnant my doctor said I could take that once a week or she would prescribe some ambien.  Of course I was already about 37 weeks by then and I really wasn't able to sleep.

Who cares what other ppl think! If your happy thats all that matters! Let them talk.....Sleeping, oh man. i would try a maternity pillow, I love mine and I sleep a hold alot better. But even know I still have some prob.'s. If you really cant sleep try and talk to your dr. I beleive there is a sleeping aid out there that is Ok to take when pregnant. Good Luck
