spotting after miscarriage

I had miscarriage about 8 weeks ago. I took the pills to force it after an ultrasound at 8 weeks showed an empty sac. I bled for about two full weeks and have had any bleeding since. Yesterday, 8 weeks after the miscarriage, I saw red blood when I wiped. It wasn't a lot at all. Today, I'm seeing brown spotting. Super light. Sometimes when I wipe, there's nothing. Other times, there's a little. My HCG level was at 70 a week ago. Is this a period? Could it remnants of the miscarriage? Could I be pregnant again? I can't find any information on this. I'm waiting for my doctor to call back, but I really can't stand not knowing.

It could still be the miscarriage. Did you have a follow up ultrasound and bloodwork when the bleeding stopped? That would be the only thing that would tell you for sure either way. Just wait for your doctor to phone and go from there. I have read of people becoming pregnant right after a miscarriage before their next cycle started but it is rare. Sorry I am not much help

First off I am sorry about your loss. Well it could be implantation bleeding, but it could also be whatever is left after the miscarriage is shedding. The only way you are going to know is to take a home pregnancy test and then go to the doctor to have your hCg checked to see if it is falling or rising. I hope that you are pregnant =)
