stitches?

I posted about what happened a few days ago but basically my nurse at the hospital had long nails and sliced the inside of my vagina. I've been so nervous about it healing in time before my appointment Monday. Has anyone had stitches? I doubt anyone has had them inside their vagina but still lol. I'm so nervous it's going to effect natural birth (I'm 37 weeks) and that it's going to be painful..

Really?! Did they numb it with a shot or anything? I've been worrying about it this weekend. :P

Everyone is telling me to file a lawsuit lol. I have no idea if it would be worth it or not. That's the hospital they told me to go for L&D so I'm a little nervous about doing it!

I definitely am happy they found out now! I'm just really nervous about stitches and healing time now lol. :)

I had one stitch on the inside of my vagina lol and it basically healed and fell out while I took a bath.

Holy Molly that's a big gash. I would also consider a law suit. Be thankful you found out imagine if another mom wasn't so lucky!!!

Omg!!!!! Do you kno that's a lawsuit? Doctors they aren't even supposed to have long nails, that's one of the first things they teach you (my fiance is a private duty nurse) I would b so upset if I were you. I'd definitely file an lawsuit. She didn't tell you either! Anne risked you and the baby getting an infection! Sheesh I would be so pissed!

She didn't tell me lol! My OBGYN was doing that swab test and the speculum opened it more so it bled like crazy. That's when we both found out. :) I go Monday for a few stitches since it was about 3.5 inches wide and deep he said. I'm just nervous all the time about peeing and showering now lol and of course stitches!

Omg ! Did she apologize ? That's crazy . This might be tmi but about a year ago I got a cut inside of me too but by my boyfriend && it wasn't bad it just felt awful ! It burned everytime I went pee && I refrained from sex for a couple weeks . It did take forever to heal but when your giving birth , that little cut will be the last thing you're concerned with . It'll be okay (:
