sweet cravings.

Hi everyone. I am constantly craving sweets and sugar. Softdrinks and choc etc. Whenever i eat it my baby gets super active. I love feeling him move but whats the effect this is having on the baby?

I have had 2 diabetes tests and both were perfect...i am still currently below my pre baby weight at 30weeks so thats a good sign. I will just be more consious of it for the next 9weeks.

I am 27 +4 and i crave sweets non stop! No diabetes yet...but try to substitute it with fruit or dark chocolate or even fresh fruit popsickles

I'm the same way, my doc told me if I keep it up I will have a 10 lb baby and develop gestational diabeties so I have been weining myself off of Girl Scout cookies ( my weakness) and sub it with yogurt lol

Before i was pregnant i loved my salty food. Chips! Mmm my favorite. Now all i want is candy cookies chocolate donuts. Uh dnt get it. I never like sweets before and now salty foods dont catch my eye. Lol

(This is just my experience) my whole pregnancy i wanted (and ate) nothing but sweets and i ended up getting gestational diabetes and having to take insulin 3x a day and check my sugar level 6x a day (it was horrible) however it (luckily) didn't do any harm to my little one, she was a healthy 8 lbs 7oz  when born and is now a thriving 5 month old.
