so normally when i get out of bed in the morning, my ankles hurt for a little bit. But today, the who front of my shins are swollen and hurt. even just sitting on the couch. and really hurts to walk because of the swelling. ive got them elevated with ice right now to see if that helps. ive also had a head ache almost all day. told my husband earlier it felt like my brain was swollen. my hands. face, and feet are fine though. toes might be a tiny bit swollen. ideas? Im trying to just keep my feet up and cool off for a while and hope that helps.

thats what ive been thinking! and ive felt really weird the past couple days, especially today. i was suppoed to be back at the dr for my check up this coming wednesday, but they didnt have any openings, so they just had me skip that apt and scheduled my 37 week apt on the 2nd. But im gunna call them on wednesday and see if they had any cancellations and can get me in. or if i feel any worse before then ill go to l&d

Swelling is a sign of pree clampisa, not sure I spelt that right lol but yeah with swelling u should go see ur doctor even if its nothing

well the l&d nurse didnt seem worried about it at all. only said to come in if my headache continues after taking tylenol or if i get vision changes, or belly pain thats not contractions...

If I were u I wud go to thee hospital cuz tht means ur BP is high..I kno cuz they had to induce me due to high BP nd had to have my baby 3weeks early cuz it caused him to be in disstress

so i just went and checked my bp at cvs cus i dont want to drive the 45 min to the hospital if i dont have to, and it was 148/83. so i called l&d to see what they thought. and she just said to continue elevating my feet and to take some tylenol and if that doesnt help then i should come in. so hopefully it helps, although it never does for anything else.

They got control of my blood pressure and checked on the baby. And all they really told me was that its a good thing I came up there and that to come back up if I feel the medicine they prescribed isn't working. Honestly I was do tired I don't remember to much! Lol

They always say go to the hospital if the swelling also brings a headache. I went today for the SAME thing and my blood pressure was high. I think you should go get checked out. Just to be safe :)

ok. my wrists and hands have been off and on swollen too
