I had 2 pulled while I was pregnant and was prescribed Vicodin for the pain. Which is safer than ibuprofen. I wasn't put to sleep but had two injections to numb my gums. Just make sure you get a release signed by your of and inform the dentist you are pregnant before they do any kind of rays.
I don't think you can but ask the dentist I know I was given anastasia when I had mine out.
I'm not sure you can bc of the pain meds?? I could be wrong..I just remember I had lite work done, cavities n cleaning..but had to wait to have any big work to be done...your situation could be different..I do know your doc will have to approve any dental work you get done.
I think my dentist made me wait, but that was probably because I'm a nervous wreck when I go!
and also tell the dentist about your pregnancy and its stage so that he/she can avoid medicines contraindicated in pregnancy.
why not but better to avoid in first three months
