tetanus shoot
Has anyone received a tetanus shoot during pregnancy?
Only one shot and I am pretty sure I had a six cheese bagel with cream cheese for breakfast from Einstein's bagels right before I got the the doctor's office so definitely no veggies in that lol
Did not get it yet, am a ftm and got info at the hospital that i should have got it done at 16weeks and a second shot after 1 month. Am already 30weeks and plan to visit the nearest dispensary tomorrow and see if they can get it done. Ladies who got it, did you eat only veg before and after the shoot? I was told to eat only veg.
Ok, so I looked up the vaccine for tetanus and I found out it is included in Tdap, so I admit I was wrong. I kind of wish my doctor would have given me information on the shot before giving it to me, but at least I know now.
I had Tdap and if you have it while pregnant, it carries to the baby and protects them as well so everyone else doesn't have to get one to be protected like they did in previous years. With my first, they didn't give the shot until after you gave birth so it was recommended that everyone that was consistently going to be around the baby get it as well.

Tdap is for whooping cough, not a tetnus shot.

I got it, my husband got it, the babys grandparents got it, and my sister got it. I'm taking no chances. Lol. There's a lot of respiratory illnesses this year and I don't want him getting it.
thats the tdap shot right? if it is then yes i got it....and i also made my boyfriend get it as well.
