throwing up blood...

So I know it's normal to throw up little bits of bloodif you're dehydrated and really straining to vomit..but this morning as usual I got up to get sick and there was like blood mixed in with my bile, not just strings like I get once in a while ...is this normal ? It really didn't feel normal, I don't feel any different or anything but I don't want to call my Dr if it's nothing to be concerned with, any advice?

I had hyperemesis and threw up blood and the doctor told me not to worry it was probably through throwing up excessively and making my throat sore. If its like small coffee grounds in your sick then you need to call your doctor because thats old blood thats been sitting in your stomach.

Okay, I'm gonna call and see what they say, I felt that it was weird because I haven't been throwing up anymore than normal and my throat isn't raw, no nose bleeds lately...I feel like its actually in my stomach ...I'm calling now, thanks ladies

Is your throat raw? Have you been throwing up a lot? Either way I'd tell your doctor, if you're throwing up that much that your throat is raw you should probably get checked out!
