tick bite pregnant

ok i am panicking i am 13 weeks 3 days pregnant and my husband just pulled a tick off me that I am sure has been there a few days i'm sure i know where it came from what I need to know is what concerns do I need to have for my baby is my baby ok do i need to worry about the tick causing any problems HELP

I finally got to talk to someone about the bite today they are doing some blood work to see if I got Lyme from it and then will go from there

I'm doing good very annoyed with my doctors office though still no call back I'm gonna end up driving down there and dragging someone from behind that counter not really but you know what I mean. Thank you so much for checking I really appreciate that and still no swelling itching burning or rashes.

No there is no swelling I've been keeping an eye out I called my doctor office and no one ever called me back which is very unusual for them so I am gonna try again tomorrow thank you all for your comments

Check in wsith your dr just to be safe...is there any swelling?

it had burrowed he is sure that he got it all I know lyme disease is what worries me I got it about 10 years ago from another tick bite

I agree with the above poster.....contact you dr. asap. One way to know if you are bitten or infected is if you develop a circular red patch, it will continue to get bigger and bigger. My son was a yr old and had been bitten on the tummy, his whole tummy was a huge red, puffy blotch. They call it "bullseye" Did he get the whole tick off, had it burrowed? They are nutorious for burrowing in the skin, and when trying to be removed the head will get stuck. All the best.

Call your dr.  May want to get a round of antibiotics just to be safe due to ticks carrying lyme disease.
