An infection could harm your baby. Just go and get it taken care of before it gets really bad. Hope it all gets taken care of soon.

YES do go to the dentist. i had an abscess with my daughter and it got so bad it was almost unbearable. they only thing to get rid of the abscess is to take antibiotics to get rid of the infection and after baby is born they may have to do a root canal or pull tooth all together. mine had to be pulled out. but definitely get it checked out i was told by my dentist that it can get bad enough and get into your blood stream... which takes a while but you need the antibiotics to get rid of the infection

Dental hygiene is important during pregnancy. Especially any infections going on. Not to mention you're already in enough discomfort you dont need toothaches adding to it, since you cant take anything other than tylenol really. Call your dentist & doctor!! I've had 2 wisdom teeth removed that became infected and im soooo glad i did!!
