I saw my dr and she said to not worry she doesn't think I have it bcuz I would be itching more than just my foot, but she did a blood test to make sure, I should find out for sure in a couple days.  I'm still worried anyway but I hope she is right.

Mine got worse. It started only on my feet and hands. Then slowly it started spreading. Every night it started with my hands or feet... then started spreading all over my legs, arms, chest and stomach. I kept trying to get relief. Finally after a week and half I called and they got me in immediately.  It only happened at night. I would go to bed with socks and oven mittens on my hands and wake up bloody from how bad I itched.  I have the worst scars on my legs, hands and chest. I have little scars on my belly, arms and feet. My dr office never heard of it before. I am their first patient with it.
My symptoms only happened at night. Once it got really severe I did itch during the day. When will you be getting your test results? This condition is scary. With most pregnancies.. the longer your pregnant the healthier the baby is. My specialist says if you carry past the 37th week it becomes very dangerous for the baby. Its crazy itching can be such a huge indication for something so dangerous for our babies.

Star- my ob said you are able to get it earlier. He said more than likely if I get pregnant again, it will start quite a bit earlier.

26 weeks. Im being induced next thursday. If you try taking benadryl and it doesnt help it is most likely cholestasis. I tried everything for relief. I was itching my self until I bled. It was bad! I am on medicine now but I have scars on my hands, feet and legs, where I itched so bad.

That is one of those things you can't ignore. Itching everywhere else is normal, but on your hands and feet can be very serious. Even if it turns out to be nothing, it is better to be safe than sorry.

I googled it and I don't think mine is being caused by pregnancy, I was prescribed an antibiotic a couple months ago and it is a main cause of this :(

I agree with haleyb123 you have to get blood test done asap, it can affect the baby really bad. I had one done because I was itchy all over, but it came back negative. So please go schedule an appointment you can lose your baby "/

I'm on meds to help with the itching and bile that is being released into the body as well I get weekly blood, ultrasounds and NST to make sure everything is good with baby, I'm being induced on Monday at 37 weeks. The meditcation does and doesn't work for the itching. I have my good days and bad where I'm up all night itching. But you can take benidryol for the itching

Star, it sounds like we both need to get it checked out ASAP

Haleyb, yes I just read that :( I will be calling my dr first thing in the morning to see if I can come in early. . .I had my gallbladder out in september and it sounds like that could really up my risk for it :( . How do they treat yours?

That's a sign of cholestasis. Witch I have and is very serious I would ask for a liver function test as well as a bile test to check your live. Theres a Risk of stillborn

Being itchy is normal but if it's unbearable itches on your hands and feet that can be dangerous. Call and ask your OB what he/she thinks you should do.
