ultrasound

I had my ultrasound yesterday and when I did the ultrasound tech, my fiancee, and I seen the embryo sac but no baby in there. You can see something as if it was far awayalong maybe it was the baby. She stated she is going to classify that she was measuring the rump but she stated that I am really early in the pregnancy the reason y she didn't see a heart or I miscarried. But the thing is I never had any miscarriage symptoms. So what could it be? Because I am really afraid and nervous that I lost my baby and the way I feel right now is very depressed. Please if you went through this can you help me or give me some information?

i am sorry you are going  through this. you see i have PCOS as well. as miscarriage rate in normal women are 20% women suffering from this disease at risk of 40%. i recently had a MC. when i had that i was suppose to be 8 weeks but i was still measuring 6 weeks and 5 days. a baby with no heartbeat.
at the moment you need a good scan to see whether you are making any growth or no. as i had a scan at 6 weeks 5days before and when i had it again when i was suppose to be measuring 8 weeks i was still the same so i was diagnosed with MC. and i started bleeding after two weeks.
if you were only able to see a sac and no baby. then another scan should show progress. however as you said they are drawing your blood test it will show you as well whether they are doubling or no.
you should try relaxing yourself and make sure to take plenty of rest. at the moment all you can do is try make your self stay calm. anxiety and stress cause more problems. it is true that if you are unable to see heartbeat at week 6 another scan should show progress.
i hope your next scan should some progress. take care of your self
and keep us posting...

I know some women see the baby and hear the heartbeat a little later, so I guess you'll know in your next scan. Good luck.

All I seen was the sac and when she moved the stick around u could tell something was there but like it was far away like the baby was hiding your six week scan didn't look like anything I seen on my ultrasound. I can see your baby

My 6 week scan is in my photos on my profile btw, you can see the difference between it and the 10 week scan I had. The baby develops very quickly.

The same thing happened to me, but I was about 5 weeks and it was just too early to see anything. By 6 weeks though a little baby was visible. I'm not sure what could explain it by 8 or 12 weeks, but it doesn't seem like a good sign. Is it possible your dates are off and you're just earlier than you think?

I took the ultrasound to find out exactly how far along I was. But she couldn't tell me because she really couldn't see the baby. I believe I am about 8 weeks but if you go by my lmp I would be 12 weeks but my periods are irregular
