I have five kids and that is normal. Just watch for the skin around it getting really red and leaking puss. It is being rubbed and that is why it is bleeding. Get diapers with cord cut out or fold the front of the diapers down and make sure baby wears a onesie. Keep it dry and clean it with alcohol a couple of times a day, I did mine at every diaper change. Try not to bump it or move it to much when you pick up baby and hold him against you...

Have you already left the hospital? Or did you deliver at home? I'm not really sure if it's normal

That happens , you just have to take alcohol & wipe around it . Use a cotton swab & do it .
