I agree with erislandy but be tough with ur doctor because at the of the day is u and ur body suffering. Always make sure and pressure them on checking you otherwise they won't care or notice something is really wrong until it's very serious.
I had a really bad smell as well but my doctor gave me some antibiotics because it could of been an infection and after i took them everything was fine
It's normal I also felt I was a smelly after I got home, I had a cSection as well I only bleed for like 2 weeks though, the smell will go away as time goes by. I recommend u to take regular showers and dry your opening very very well. Let it "breathe" after showers lay in bed with the cut uncovered for couple of minutes.
But that was almost 2 years ago. So I honeatly can say how long it lasted. I just know when I was done bleeding the smell went away.
The strong smell...maybe a week or 2. It lightened up as the bleeding lightened up. I was done bleeding around 5-6 weeks.
@mjp0325 how long did it last?
Its normal. Itll go away as the bleeding lessens
I thought the same after my first was born. I didn't think it smelled like blood, and it turned out that was all it was (I went to the doctor and that is what she had told me)
