uti or the baby??

I quit drinking sodas ever since I found out I was preggers and now I'm 17wks 4days. I replaced soda with juice water and koolaid. Now my side is killing me like I have a uti. Is the koolaid giving me a uti or is it the baby!?

I been having the same problem since the beginning now I'm 37 weeks and still have it. But yes try to cut some sugar drinks. I was recomended Cranberry juice make sure its not the cocktail one lol i accidentally got that one oh pineapple juice and lots of water.

Try water and cranberry juice if anything, it can really only help you.

thanx ima try to drink sum water also and cutback on the kooliad for a wwhile. I ben drinking juice all day and all of a sudden my side start killing me

Uti's are normal during pregnancy get checked by your doctor so u get the right antibiotics if its a uti

Kook aid won't give you a uti unless you squirt it up there and let it sit for a while lol. Uti is caused by bacteria or sugar that got into the urethra and had a chance to spread. Have you had sex lately? Or taken a few long baths? If you don't pee after those things or having something in the vagina you'll most likely get a uti. If you feel like you have one definitely call your dr so you can be checked out, but when I was prego my baby pushed so hard on my bladder that it hurt like a really bad uti! Give your dr a call :) and good luck I hope you feel better soon
