vaginal birth after csection???

So im at my consultant tomorrow to tell him my decision on if im having a natural birth or csection. I had an emergency csection with my first child and im a larger girl so im classed at high risk. But... my first appointment he said i should have csection but my second appointment he said im fine to go with a normal birth as baby isnt very big and i havent gained much weight. My mother wants me to be safe and have csection but partner wants normal birth. Im scared incase i have a normal birth my scar rips from the inside but i know i will regret not giving a normal birth a try... sorry this is so long just need some advice from mothers who have had a csection and went on to have normal births.

If you have Netflix,  watch "More Business of Being Born" series with Ricki Lake. It's a sequel. There's a mom in the documentary who shares her story of going from c-section to vaginal birth. She went through the process, she and baby are great, and she's happy she went through with it. Of course doctors say not to, but some midwives will. Midwives arwe cheaper anyway(which I learned from the first Business of Being Born) lol. :-)

They will support me either way i just cant decide. Like you say it is hard as there is risks either way. I just want to experience a normal birth but its the stories about bleeding internally from previous csections that have me worried

M going through the same thing... There are risks either way... Its hard. I know 2 ppl that have done it and it went just fine. Idk what I will do. I want to try. Its your decision, not ur moms or the fathers. They just need to support u.
