vaginal discharge or mucus plug?

Hello, Sorry for a tmi question, but I am 28 weeks pregnant with a baby boy :). I went to the bathroom and noticed this thick white discharge,  but it looked mucousy.  So me being gross I pick it up to see what it was and it definitely spread like mucus.. so I put it on toilet paper and it was yellowish.  So my question is, is it pieces of my mucus plug or is it just discharge. ?

my plug had pink in it & i felt it come out...eww

I would have your doctor check to make sure its not a yeast infection. But with that being said i had the same thing and my doctor said it was normal its just different secretions from my cervics.

I'm 24 weeks and I have the same thing. But mine is clear or white. And sometimes its yellow. I'm wondering what it is too
