vaginal discharge

Hi,

I just gave birth to my son a week ago and all of a sudden my bleeding stopped after a few days. Now I have jelly like discharge which is sometimes clear and sometimes a little bit brown. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

i believe that it sounds normal...if your breastfeeding its a good thing you have stoped by now! All a good sign and the jelly like discharge thats sometimes clear sometimes brown sounds to me like its old blood and just regular discharge ....i think your fine..unless you develope a smell or a green/yellow discharge accompined by itch or anything then you should call a doc and get checked t for now i say enjoy your new baby and relax! It sounds to me like your body is doing what it needs to..to get back to normal!!:) Good luck and keep us posted!
