I've heard that a few things can help but it's trial and error really. I've heard that if you eat pineapple it is known to soften your cervix. Also heard that hot curries are supposed to bring labour on and generally just being up-right most of the time and not sitting down as gravity helps pull the baby down within your cervix. They also say having intamacy is proned to help also.

How far on are you? I'm 36w 1d, had my show over a week ago, the babys head is engaged and I'm having Braxton hicks daily. Midwife recommended I continue walking (I normally do 2-3 miles a day with the dog), take some raspberry tea leaf capsules, and enjoy some spicy food to see if that will help kick start it x
