It's common to lose weight in first trimester but if your asking of it's ok to diet to TRY to lose weight, then no you shouldn't. All doctors advise against it. If you eat healthy and exercise you can however keep your weight gain pretty low.

Yes I lost weight that's how I found out I was pregnant lol at 5 weeks. My normal weight was 120 & was down to 108 & it would get up to 110 but I had morning sent sickness so it'd go back down I'm now 26 weeks ago & weigh 142

I'm 13 weeks today and at my last appt I had found out I lost almost 10 lbs, I had such bad morning sickness. I still am naesious most days but not vomiting, its still hard to eat. Monday at my next appt ill find out if ive gained any of it back! Don't worry though Dr says its normal to loose weight in the first trimester.

Yes I lost weight in my first trimester due to really bad morning sickness, I wasn't able to eat or drink anything without bringing it back up. Now I'm in my second trimester (24wks) I've gained 17lbs
