After I got my epidural I dilated to 9 cm within an 2 hours. I started pushing at 1:50 am and gave birth to my healthy baby girl at 2:14 am. She did have the cord wrapped around her neck which caused some stress but she is perfect!

I ended up having an epidural because my contractions were a million times worse than I was prepared for! On tuesday night I went to the er with contractions close together, they sent me home. Went back to the er on Wednesday morning, sent me home (stuck at 3 cm dilated and 80%effaced) wednesday night went back to the er because my contractions were 1-2 minutes apart and pretty strong, again they sent me home. Finally on thursday afternoon (after screaming all day) I finally gave in and went back to the hospital to find out that I had finally dilated to 4 1/2 cm. I was admitted and given and iv with fluids immediately. After screaming for another hour I decided to get an epidural and it was probably the best decision I made lol.
