no soft cheeses, soft serve ice cream isnt supposed to be good for you because of the risk or listeria, tuna fish you CAN have, just no more than 1 can a week...try to stay away from caffeine..hmm..thats all i can think..

the only thing i was told not to eat was seafood due to the high mercury content. i didn't know there was an enormous list of foods not to eat....

You shouldn't eat anything that is raw, because there is a risk of salmonella and other viruses such as E. Coli and Toxoplasmosis.. There are certain types of fish that are safe, but you should look more into this as I do not know specifically because I hate all kinds of fish. The reason is the high mercury content in some fish that can be harmful to you and the baby. There are certain kinds of cheeses, but probably cheeses that you don't eat regularly anyways, such as brie cheese, or... well some other kinds of cheeses that I can't even pronounce, due to listeria, another type of virus from bacteria. And of course, wash your fruits and vegies. They say not to eat soft serve ice cream either, (but I snuck in a few here and there) like onlyme27 said, everything else is okay in moderation. Basically just stay away from anything raw that can contain harmful bacterias. Make sure your food is cooked thoroughly (and yes, the sushi, since it is raw also). Other than that, you can basically eat what you want.

i know that we are supposed to take in limited amounts or unpasterized cheeses.
I have not heard about the salad dressing thing though.  As far as fish goes you can eat small fish not big fish like shark, swordfish ect in large amounts.  This is b/c of the mercury levels.  I think that we can eat it like once a month (not pig out on it though).  Tuna is OK to eat.  I practically lived off of it when I was preg with me son.  Don't over do it on any thing in particular like sweets or caffine though.  Everything is good in moderation

tuna??? i never heard that? i dont like albacore any ways.....
the nonpastuerized things, are raw.....most things you buy in the grocery store, is procesed so you should be good!

i havent changed my diet, i eat chicken salads with honey mustard or ranch dressing, i still eat steak, pork chops, tuna sandwhiches(if i get nauseas i hate eating plain crackers)...

********stop reading lol, i've always heard that's the worst thing to do! and no offense, i'm seeing why! alot of people ask omg what can i eat, what can i do?

my dr toldme not to radically change my diet overnight, dont' do anything i woudnt normally do.....so i eat whatever, i just cut down on sweets and caffeines, and drink more milk.....
