I am a type one diabetic, I have been thinking of starting a family but i'm concerned of the risks. what are the risks and what can be done to prevent most?

There are risks however it is possible and thousands of women do it every year. I would speak to your OB about it. They can make sure you having all your ducks in a row before becoming pregnant.

Diabetic women usually have high risk pregnancy, I'm not sure what the risk are. If I were you I would def talk to a Dr. about it.
