My contractions were completely irregular, I went in and they said I was a two and wanted to send me home, completely refused. I went in at 1 15 and had my son at 8 20 but was pushing from 7 50. Even at the end my contractions started slowing down :/
I didnt get any pain at all in my stomach with my first all the labour pain was in my back, even with the braxton hicks contractions it was still all in my back. I had to get one shot of morphene i believe in a small does and it did absolutely nothing to relieve my pain. Its really intense feeling when its all in your back. My daughter turned out to be in the breach position but the nurses confused her foot for her hand so i ended up delivering her naturally instead of a csection like it should have been. My doctor wasn't there for when i came in and ot was time to push. I had gone earlier in the night and was told my contractions weren't regular enough to amount to anything and sent me home. 6 or 7 hours later i was giving birth. Even with spuradic contractions i still dialated faster then they thought i was going to
Mine felt like my regular period cramps but i didnt think i was in labor at all till i just got the feeling to go to the hospital and i was 7cm..
Baby #2 and now they feel like mild cramps but with my whole belly getting super tight!
Mine didn't feel like period pains. It felt like someone stuck a knife below my belly and twisted it around. My water broke at home, when I got to the hospital I was only 4cm but they did an emergency csection because my baby was breech. I don't even want to know what labor pains feel like past 4 cm it was horrible enough at the point I was at. I'm not looking forward to it a second time!
Mine felt like period pains but also like someone had wrapped a tight belt around my stomach and had strapped on a load of bricks.... My stomach felt so heavy, like it was dragging... There was a LOT of pressure.
The pain didn't become unbearable until I was 7cm at that time the pethidine wore off and gas and air want enough, I still did it without anymore pain killers :)
I was begging for an epidural but thankfully the anesthesiologist want available :)
I would do exactly the same for whenever I have a baby again :D
Good luck hun
6 month old gorgeous boy :)
Like youre going to get your period , also your belly can get hard when you are having one. If you switch positions, walk or lie down and they go away those are braxton hicks. Real contractions will continue to happen regardless
Like period cramps only they progress with time and soon start hurting pretty bad
