what is going on

Can you still have a period and still be prego? I started bleeding heavy this morn. I am not due for my reg. period for another 6 days. It is heavier then inplantation bleeding, but not as heavy as my reg. period. There is only lots of blood when I wipe or pee. Not much on my pad. So, what is going on? Is it my regular period early or something else?

my sister and mother both had there periods for almost 3 months and both of them were 2 months and 21/2 months when they found out so yes you can have your period while your pregnant. it could just be that AF is early of course thats what a nurse at the hospital told me when i called to ask. best of luck!!

If your pregnant you wouldn't get your period since you wouldn't be ovulating. However, it is possible to be pregnant and bleed heavily. I bled worse than a period during my pregnancy for 5 weeks and she was fine. Unfortunently I wouldn't be able to predict if it was your period coming early but if you suspect pregnancy than you should be checked out by your doctor to make sure everything is going okay. Best of luck to you I hope everything turns out okay for you and your family.
