what would you do in this situation?

Long story short, my neighbor across the street from me is nothing but white trash. She leaves her poor kid home alone 24/7 and without any way to contact anyone. Yesterday the poor girl cane to use our phone to call her mother and find out where she was and her mom refused to tell her. Talk about mother of the year. So i called her out on it. So the dumb broad calls my mom making all kinds of threats to kick my ***. Mind u she knows im 10 weeks pregnant. What's my mom do? Flips **** on me. Yup another mother of the year, gotta protect her drinking buddy. Im seeing red. All i know is if this dumb **** tries to lay a hand on me especially knowing im pregnant, shes not gonna like what happens. Oh and i plan on calling cps. That poor kid deserves better. What what you do/feel in this situation?

Yeah my husband is very passive. U would think someone threatened ur pregnant wife, it would **** u off? Nope he gets mad at me.

Im trying not to let this stress me or the baby out but its proving harder then i thought. Even before i got pregnant i always had a temper but with these hormones, ugh they make everything 10x worse. My husband wouldn't talk to me all night last night bc i should mind my own business. Yeah nope. (1) my mother instincts have fully taken ahold of me and (2) i know what its like to have horrible parental structures. (My moms an alcoholic married to a violent alcoholic, and my biological father abandoned me at 11.) I want better for my kid

How mature!! I had a similar situation(wasn't pregnant though). I tried to be nice and let this trick and her 5 kids stay at my home while she got back on her feet. 3 months in, she never attempted to find a job or other housing. Constantly left me to feed her children and put them to bed. So I got fed up, kicked her out and told the kids they could come over whenever they wanted, but their momma was not welcome. She ended up in jail not even a week later!

Im not worried about cops. If she even steps foot on my property, ill gladly greet her outside my shotgun to prove my point. Definitely plan on calling cps.

I've tried taking the kid under my wing and spending as much time with her as possible. Well she's digging her own grave of she tries to lay a finger on me.

I personally would have called CPS already, especially if she's making those types of threats and leaving her child alone.
