from when you have intercourse, what's the timeframe for conception to occur?

it's happened to me twice with plan b now...i might as well have a sweetie lol. was really freaked when i got my bfp, but now i'm kinda happy the pill didn't work afterall.

Well, that's fairly close. And no, it wouldn't because if your PG now, the pill wouldn't have affected implantation and the pregnancy.

oh, forgot, i took a morning after pill 13 hours after sex - would that decrease the margin for error?

thanks, i just thought i could really pinpoint this one but i guess there's still a margin for error. a dr gave me august 8th based on when i had sex, my last period and a 24 day cycle and spade gave me 9th, so i have got a fairly accurate idea. my last u/s they went off my lmp and gave me 11th august, but they didn't take my cycle length into account. so, i'm goin for between the 8th and 9th and allowing a margin of error. the reason i badly wanted to pinpoint it is because my babies are always late and i only escaped induction by 4 hours when i went into hospital with my last. am not keen on being induced at all and wanted the longest but still safe timeframe to give baby to come of his own accord before agreeing to an induction.

i was always told to figure out a due date... add 7 days from your last period and then go back 3 months... so like with me my LMP was aug 31.. so i would add 7 days (sept 7) and go back 3 months (june) so that would make EDD June 7th. even though i know i O'd 2 days earlier than what they normally go by...lol... anyhow just thought i would throw that out there.

i had sex on sept 13 and O'd on sept 14... got my first faint bfp on 9 dpo (rare) (sept 23rd) and it just kept getting darker.... so hope that helps.

srry. I just got on.. Yea. 12d. :) Your due date will be anywhere from 5 days AFTER you had sex the 1 time... Because sperm can live up to 5 days in the right environment before conception occurs. :)  So you have a 5 day window. I'd say tho to add the 2 weeks also because they consider you pregnant even tho your really not that first 2 weeks. :)

it's ok, googled it...anything upto 12 days. annoying, thought i'd get a really accurate due date because there was only one time i could have gotten pregnant this time. nevermind.
