when to pack???

So my question is when do I pack my hospital bag and baby bag??? I'm 32 weeks today my babyshower is in 2 weeks...ill be 34 weeks then. Is waiting til after my shower ok or should I pack before then?

I'm 30wks and all I've packed so far is toiletries lol.  I'm high risk and I don't expect to make it full term :-P  I'd just do it little by little, kinda throw things in you know you aren't going to use soon (I'm going to bring some capri pj pants, but I wear them currently so they'll be a last minute thing lol).  Get some travel sized soaps, shampoos, deodorants, ect.  Throw them in a large freezer zipper bag and pack that.  If you happen to go into early labor you at least can feel clean until someone runs home and grabs the rest lol

I've packed a mini-bag, just in case...toiletries, a nightgown, socks and a couple of pairs of underwear, books, a couple of snacks. Only 27 weeks but warned of possible hospitalization; I live really near the hospital so I just wanted something to get me through while I sent somebody back to get more things if I needed to...I did make an effort to put maternity things in special drawers so they'd be easy for others to find. I'll pack the real hospital bag probably around 34-35 weeks or so, unless I get inspired earlier.

With my first two, I had them 3 -4 weeks early. No signs of early labor it just happend. I wasn't prepared at all so while in labor I struggled to throw things together. With my experience I suggest between 32-33 weeks just incase.  Good luck!

Pack now! I started packing at 30 weeks and completed at 34 weeks lol. I gave birth at 37 weeks but I was very prepared. Once your shower is over you don't want to have to worry about packing, just getting your little one's room ready.
