who is almost due?

I have 40 days left, which makes me 34+2, I'm super nervous, my sister tells me not to be but its hard not to when this is my first baby =/ I'm just wondering how this baby is gunna get outta here lol I'm scared to push and I'm scared to get cut open, anyone else feeling this way? And if you've had a c-section before how was it while you were healing? And for those who had given birth vaginally did yu get stitches if so how was it while healing? Lol I'm just nervous!

I'm a ftm also, and am due Dec 6, I have 14 days left. But am already 2.5 cm dilated, and 70% effaced, doctor says she could be here any day. The first day he told me that I was so excited i could have rolled around on the floor..... lol. But now as the days keep on moving I'm getting nervous!!! So many thoughts run through my head.. What if the cord is wrapped around her throat? What if something is wrong? What if I stop dilating and I have to get induced (which I heard makes labor more painful), what if I need an epidural (I plan to go natural or at least get nubane i REALLY REALLY dont want an epidural), What if i need a c-section.. what if i lose a lot of blood and die during the c-section.... lol. What if.... lol so many things that run through my mind all day. I just try to ignore it... and I just keep moving and squatting and helping the labor along...

Im sooo hoping I have my mother's gene's when it comes to labor. For my sister and I, my mother went into labor and had us within 30 minutes... couldnt even get any pain meds if she wanted any... which she did. lol :P I remember I got to sit in the front of the ambulance, holding my little sandals (i was 4), and i could here my mom in the back screaming "GIVE ME PAIN MEDS, PLEASE!!" That's all she was screaming.. lol. But it was to late for that. And she had my sister 30 minutes later.. and the cord was wrapped around my sisters throat, and a week later she stopped breathing in her crib because of it but thankfully was saved. Lol.

Yay to being a woman..... good luck everyone. lol.

Ftm 31 days left due dec.23rd with a little girl!!  Im nervous about the same. I have heard wayyyy to many horror stories but the there are so many children bored every day with no problems. I just keep tellin myself it will all be worth it to see my little angel for the first time.. congrats mommies!!

This is my second pregnancy..I had a vaginal birth with my first and I thought it was the easiest thing. The recovery was horrible I was in soo much pain for about 2wks. I got a few stitches. So I much rather give birth and go through labor than go through the painful recovery..

I just had my first baby 8 weeks ago via c-section. I was having contractions but baby was head down face up rather than down and with each push her heart rate descended so they rushed me to OR. Recovery wasn't bad at all. The same day they had me walking up and down the hallway. Slowly of course. By day three I was doing everything normal minus bending down or carrying heavy stuff. Women make it seem like theyre in bed for weeks but not really. I was up and on the go.  No one could believe I had just had surgery. So if worst case scenario you end up having a c-section, you'll be fine :) the only thing that hurts is when you cough or sneeze.

19 days left till my section  and that day feels like a blurr in the distanct. I can't wait till that day comes. Btw happy thanksgiving ladies!

I'm due in 20 days but seriously think he's going to come early! I'm excited, anxious, nervous, scared. Everything you can think of lol.

Don't worry. I've never had a csection but I've given birth twice. I'm due next week with my third. My first vaginal I had stitches down there. I think the first day or two I felt a little sore but mostly when I sat down. It was itchy! They gave me a spray to help with the itching and they dissolved on their own so they didn't have to take them out. The pushing was the best part. That's when you're almost finished. When a contraction would come I would push and it would take any pain away for me. I got the epidural both times. Once while in pain which was a good distraction cause I was scared and the second time I got it before any pain and it just felt like a pinch so no worries if u get one. You got this! Lol so do I when its my time! I still get pretty nervous but by the time it's time you're more ready to get it over with anyway so that helps too. No worries! Millions and billions of mothers have done it or else our world would be empty. Atleast we have options for pain relief then it's much easier

I'm due in 52 days! 31w5d! :) I had a c-section and honestly the healing from a c-section is NOT as bad as I'd heard. I was terrified of a c-section because I never had ANY surgeries at all, and everyone told me it felt like they were being ripped open, dieing, etc.. It was NOTHING like that for me. It felt like I had really sore abs, and I didn't take any pain medicine after about 3 days. I was taking care of my son pretty much by myself after 1 day, and feeling almost 100% (besides anything strenuous and heavy lifting of course) by about a week and a half. I'll be getting my 2nd c-section in Jan.! :)

I'm 32 weeks measuring a week ahead. So close but so far lol. I'm very excited about going into labor though. Not really scared at all. This will be our first and I don't plan on getting anything for pain unless I can't take it anymore. So we will see. My grandma told me it's the worse pain you will ever feel in your entire life but yet the easiest to forget about.
