why cant i get preagnant?

hi, im 20, married, been trying to get preagnant for 4 months now, could the reason be my crazy irregular periods 31,45,34, 35 days long? my last one started september 11, than 2 weeks later i had spotting for about 2 days than nothing, please help!

it can not be implantation bleeding as it is supposed to be around the time when u expect ur period .the days u mentionded are all above 30 and a gap of 2 weeks is too less for implantation.It cud be ovulation,some woman spot while they ovulate but it is not like bleeding.U need to see a Doc.But 4 months is not long enough for any treatment.

thank you everyone for your answers! helped me a lot:) I have not seen a doctor yet, will wait a bit. But today something odd happened, after my spinning class I went to the bathroom and a bit of blood came out with a weird looking tissue.. so now I'm wondering what was that??! no cramps, feeling normal.

I'm experiencing a similar situation to yours. My cycles have been irregular since I had my third child, we are currently trying for a 4th child. I did not go back on birth control pills following my third pregnancy. I'm thinking I should be back on birth control pills to get my cycles regulated again. My other concern is that maybe ovulation is not occurring. If you are still concerned, go and see your doctor to have some blood work done and an examination done. I'm heading back into to see my gynecologist at the end of this month to see what my options are, good luck!

its hard but dont take another preg test for at least a week,  some women do not have a pos result until 8wks or later, if that one shows up neg go and see your doctor and have bloods done

4 months is not very long and if it is inplantation bleeding u won't get a positve for another wk or so u tested way 2 early so wait 1 wk maybe 2 if and do a test using 1st mornin urine and hopefully u will get that positve u r wantin keep us posted x

Yes my periods are like your all missed up and we tried for a year!! I'm 11 weeks and my doctor gave me fertility pills but I ended up pregnant before I took them which is my luck, bc I had to go threw like 3 appt. And pay a co-pay every time and ended up not taking the pills, anyways ya that why you can't get pregnant prolly.

Oh but your spotting could be implantation bleeding, so you may well be pregnant now

irregular periods would be a contributing factor as unless your aware of your ovulation signs it would be hard to predict when your ovulating. At your age they (doctors) may not do anything to help unless you have been trying for around a year, with still no luck, but go get yourself checked out with your doctor and see what happens
