How far along are you? Usually at early stages they have to press hard to c baby... However they still do that if they are unable to get measurements... With my 20wks scan tech had apologise again n again coz he was moving so much... Unless you start cramping or bleeding or start loosing water theres nothing to worry abt...

I wa a bit shocked by how rough they are on my first scan but not as much as my husband! He actualy said 'dont hurt the baby'! They found it quite funny but now iv told him to keep it zipped nxt time!

they always press down hard on me to get him to turn over, and it never fails, I ALWAYS have a bruise on my stomach the next day.

They press down rather hard to get the babys heart beat. Let them know you feel pain and they will try to move your belly around to get the baby to move so they can get a better reading.

My ultrasound lady was pushing on my tummy to make the baby move. It kinda startled me because she was so rough with me. The baby is fine though because he or she is protected by the sack.
