Also, try to eat lots of yogurt to prevent the yeast infection from coming back. My friend used plain yogurt in her crotch she said it helps sounds crazzzzzy I know.

Your OB/Midwife should give you a paper on what's safe to take for a yeast infection/other infections throughout your pregnancy. I had a yeast infection a couple times while pregnant, and I took the cream from the pharmacy that was prescribed. It's best, IMO, to get it properly diagnosed as it could be a different vaginal infection (unless you're positive it's yeast) and get it treated. At the very least, your doctor can advise you on what brand/type to take OTC.

OTC creams are safe throughout pregnancy.  Yeast infections are super common during pregnancy also.

Is it a confirmed yeast infection by your Doctor?

If so, then the Doctor would have suggested something for you to use.

If not, then go to the Doctor before you start taking anything for it

Only use the creams for now. It's too early to take an antifungal pill. I have yeast syndrome and get yeast infections all the time so the creams don't work as well for me but I can't take the pills until the 2nd trimester. I just use the creams for over a week. Hope that helps
