yeast infection even after i finished the meds???

so this is probably tmi and im sorry but i had a yeast infection a couple of weeks ago, and i was given terazol for it. i finished all of it and took it as prescribed, but i still have yellow discharge and some odor..although its not as bad and i dont have itching anymore. i wear pantiliners all the time so do you think this could be why the discharge is yellow? or do i still have some sort of infection?

you might have a bacterial infection or something else.. also with my experience when i did get a yeast infection during pregnancy.. my partner was carrying it because i must have given it to him and he kept on giving it back to me...but it wasnt this soon...it would all happen within a week of eachother until he had symtoms and was treated...

You should go to the doctor just to double check that you've cleared out the infection. Yellow discharge is not always a bad sign. I know this since I've had yellow discharge for as long as I can remember and all my tests come back negative for stds and such.

Not sure somtimes the meds still are working after you finish them. I would call your dr and ask about other medications. Yellow is not good! But you may also search the web for diet change and natural ways to stop it. Sometimes when you are pregnant as you ahve more discharge anyway you just need to fix the flora and PH level to fix it or it will keep coming back. Yogurt helps!!!!!!!
