I know its normal for pregnant women to get them and I was wondering if I'm getting one. What are the symptoms? I have been itching in my private area, I've never had one before so I don't know.

Yes it could have your ph balance is very sensitive in your vagina. There are wipes that help your balance and eating yogurt  that has the right bacteria will help balance that as well. I think it's called digesta ir something weird like that.but definitely see your doctor. My symptoms were being itchy, a lot of discharge it did not smell. And it was like thick off white and lumpy. Gross I know. I didn't take medicine I just washed down there really well with just water and it went a way

I have heard it does. Try ivory soap or dove sensitive.

I didn't have any symptoms of it until they told me I had it and I went home and had that yucky discharge lol

mine didn't smell but it looked like cottage cheese and i wasn't itchy. it was just the look that i knew. the doctor gave me monistat and pills for it as well. try eating some yogurt if you can't get the medication. they have monist at at the drug store also! but I'm not sure if you can use it unless doctor says its ok.

It doesn't necessarily have to smell and can be treated with yogurt and cranberry juice..

Yes it's very common during pregnancy. You'll get itching and discharge will be white or kinda off and thick and cream like consistency and stinky. If you think you've got one its best to go get checked out to make sure.
