your first early signs

Everyone, I like to know besides getting a positive on hpt.  What are some of the earliest signs you notice....when I was pregnant for the first time, I didn't have any symptoms at all so I was wondering.

You're so sweet! Thank you, BabyHardiman!

I read somewhere that having a miscarriage takes the "innocense" out of any future pregnancy. That you can't enjoy it the same way someone who's never experienced a miscarriage can, because you're constantly worried...and, unfortunately, I think that is so true. But I guess we just have to try not to worry too much and just concentrate on being positive.

I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!

sore breast - not necessaryily sore but sensitive. nauseous and sensitivity to certain smells.
At 1 point I could smell someone making food 3 houses down - and of course tiredness and hunger.

{{{Huggs}}} for you.  I too had a miscarriage at 9 weeks 7 years ago.  I am currently 13 week 5 days but even though they all say "YAY, you're out of the danger zone" I do not let my guard down.  I just have begun to call my baby "The Baby".  I know that might sound terrible to some but to those who have experienced a miscarriage they might understand how hard it is to become excited and to become attached to the baby they are carrying.  My sister miscarried 2 1/2 years ago on the day she turned 12 weeks, then 3 days later my cousin miscarried at 16 weeks... even though they've both have healthy babies now, that hurt is still there for the little lives that were lost.  I still remember mine like it were yesterday, it was the worst experience I've ever gone through.  Now with this baby it is hard for me to go through with Ultrasounds... seeing my little one on the screen knowing that if anything happens I can't do anything to save it's life.  I find it helpful to read self help books about uplifting yourself making yourself feel better on the inside... since that is where my baby is right now.  =)

Best wishes to you and to your future little gifts.  Just remember that you deserve and will one day hold that little precious creation in your hands and what a wonderful day that will be.  =)

Tank you, Baby Hardiman. I've actually had two miscarriages. One a year and a half ago. That was a missed miscarriage and stopped developing at 8 weeks. The other one was a natural miscarriage two months ago, and that ended at 6 1/2 weeks. It's soooo frustrating, because we really want a baby. Hopefully it will happen soon! Thanks again for your concern!

I felt my symptoms which are pretty much the same symptoms as AF a couple of days before my period was to start.  I had read up on pregnancy symptoms for my sister who was trying to conceive and was having difficulty.  I read about implantation spotting.  That was my first sign of pregnancy.  I had a couple of spots of blood two days before my period was due and nothing else.  The period pains were constant.  I took a test two days after my period was due and it was positive.. in seconds that little pink line popped up.  I have a very regular cycle though... right on 28 days every month.

Well, I started noticing the mild cramping before my period was due. Thought it was arriving any minute, but it didn't. As for the breasts, they were just much more tender than normal before AF, and after AF was due, they started getting very full and sore. Made it uncomfortable to sleep at night. I didn't really get super tired until maybe a couple of weeks after AF was due. I never experienced nausea or food cravings, though. Everyone's different, I guess. Unfortunatley, my pregnancy did end in a miscarriage, so I'm back trying again too. I'm 9 dpo today and no symptoms :-(

They say you can start to see your veins in your breast due to increase blood flow....  And the area around your nipples gets darker...

When do you start experiencing some of these signs??  I'm just curious... I'm in the 2ww and I'm hoping for a BFP soon.  But here lately I've only been having headaches, minor back pain, feeling a bit nausea but not all day or all the time, and lately I've just been wanting to take naps, (but I don't I'm afraid I'll miss out on something. lol) and I go to sleep at 7 mainly at nights and don't wake up till 11 or so... What is going on...
