+ preg. test, but really confused

My husband and I are very excited, but extremely confused at the same time. first day of my last period was Jan. 29. Ovulated on the 12th of feb (tuesday). took a pregnancy test yesterday (monday) and it came up positive. Only reason I took the test was because I "felt" pregnant and i have verrrry sore breasts. (had a miscarriage at 15 weeks last sept, so i am familiar with how i felt last time) question is, i thought that implantation didnt take place until 7-10 days after, and that a preg. test wouldnt show a positive result until closer to my period? do you think that it was ok that i took the test 6 days past ovulation? would you trust the results?

maybe you ovulated a little bit earlier than what you thought. Usually a very sensitive test can read results between 8-10 dpo. It's possible that it's right though!! congrats! Are you going to have your HCG levels taken?
