13 weeks and spotting

Hello, i am 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant and i have had expierenced some red spotting a couple of times. Went to the doctor and the baby is fine.  Why do you bleed and when will it stop.  Everytime I have a cramp or pain I run to the bathroom, I am freaking out all the time

I have had spotting with three out of my 5 succesful pregnancies with no apparent reason,  I am now 19 weeks and about 2 weeks ago i had some spotting that went away after a cuople of days and the doctor could find no reason for it,  baby is doing well, they told me some ladies spot during pregnancy an not always know the reason for it,  u have seen your little one so u know all is well.  good luck

I had bright red spotting at about 15weeks and the doctor told me that it could be from bleeding from the edge of the placenta but that it shouldn't be a problem if its not accopanied with pain, cramps or clots.

maybe if you had just had sex recently it could be from him hittin your cervex. (sp?)  i do remember spotting with my babygirl. (i have had 3mc) so i was freeking out, but i was at the races and was walking around for 2&1/2 hrs. and the dr said that is mostlikly what did it. if your dr says the baby is fine i would "try" not to worry too much. good luck
