17 weeks 6 days Contractions?

by Krissy1428, Sep 10, 2009 11:59PM
I posted earlier today about being worried about my cervix length (2.7 cm). I think I have been experiencing some sort of contractions for the past couple of days. I had them probably 3 times yesterday and 4 or 5 today. It is like a tightening in my uterus. I doesn't hurt really but I can kind of see it. I'm not sure if its Braxton Hicks or possibly the real thing. I'm worried though. What are Braxton Hicks like? Should I be concerned about what I'm experiencing?

If you're just having a tightening then you're having BH contractions. I had them from 23 weeks til I delivered...Try resting often during the day, not being on your feet a lot, and drink lots of water.
