4 weeks pregnant LMP

4 weeks pregnant LMP

Lastnight I went to the ER because I was cramping a little but no bleeding. They did an ultrasound and took blood. According to the ultrasound and blood work im 4 weeks pregnant, almost 5 weeks. My hCG level was 9 thousand. In the ultrasound they saw a sac but nothing in it. They said with that level they should be able to see something in the sac but they didnt. I go back in 2 days for more blood work. They said if my hCG level doubles then im ok but if it decreases or stays the same it can end up leading to a miscarriage. Is this normal and should I be worried?!

thats still kinda early to see anything. i think i went at 6 weeks pregnant and only saw a tiny dot. so at 4 almost 5 weeks...idk but your hcg is doubling. that sounds good.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you started bleeding.  I didn't even see a sac let alone a baby on my ultrasound at 4 weeks pregnant.  At 6 weeks pregnant on the ultrasound I still can't see anything (tech does, I don't).  Trying to tell how far along you are with numbers isn't always accurate.  I wouldn't go by that.  I'm sure you numbers will double and when they do, don't worry about it.  4-5 weeks is really early to see anything! Good Luck!
