by expectant_mom, Jan 19, 2009 03:12PM
How long does cramping usually last during the frist trimester?  Is it more prevelent with me because I found out I was pregnant so early, therefore I just noticed more?  I am 4 weeks and a few days, unsure to be exact becasue my period and ovulation is not right on track.

u are going to have weird pains ur whole pregnancy, most of them will be stretching pains and cramping. I dont know how bad ur cramping is, but if too extreme then take some tylenol for it.

I am 16 weeks and still have cramping. It's just your uterus expanding and stretching.

i am 5 weeks and 1 day and i having a strange cramping on and off. i have had 4 miscarriages so it makes me worry. from what i understand it is really normal as long as you are not spotting or anything. if it gets to be something that you are really worried about, a trip to the doctor couldnt hurt. its always better to be safe than sorry.

i think you are going to be just fine! trust me girl, i am in the same boat!

I had cramping throughout my first trimester...I'm 27w and I had cramping the other day...It is a normal part of pregnancy because everything is growing and stretching.
