5 weeks low hcg level no fetal pole or g sac

I had my period on july 13 it lasted a little longer than usual on the 25 of july i was excersizing had some cramping and bleeding with some clots went to the er they told me i was 5 wks but my uterus was still closed had an hcg level of 2400 had the levels taken 2 days later was 2300 and 2 days later 2400 and 2days after 2750 and now aug 6 3550 had another u/s done on aug 4 was told ther was a gestational sac no fetal pole or yolk sac. I am wonder what is going on i am a mother of 2 and i never had this experience. i am wondering if i already miscarried? What do you think? Iam scheduled for a u/s on aug 11.

It's hard to say since your numbers are increasing and you are early so it could be too early to see anything.  Another possibility though, is you having a blighted ovum - you can research it to find more information but basically the fertilized egg attaches itself to your uterus but the embryo doesn't develop.  With the blighted ovum your hcg can still increase.  I am going to send you this informative website that will better explain this to you.  I don't know if that is what you are going through, but if they don't see anything next week I would ask them about it if they don't already mention it to you.
